The pandemic has got us all used to using new ways of keeping in touch and communicating with each other. Zoom has been a bit of a challenge for some of our members. However, with help and some technical equipment, many have been able to join in on our Zoom sessions. Carers have been able to keep in touch and have a chat over a cuppa in the comfort of their own home, and members living with dementia have joined in a range of fun activities over the internet. The Gospel Choir even had virtual practices! Here’s a lovely comment from one of the carers after one of our carers training sessions:
"Many thanks for yesterday's session - it was a great intro in spite of one of two tech glitches! The way you combined the info/knowledge transfer with the opportunity to share experiences was much appreciated."
