Together Dementia Support owns two minibuses that are a lifeline for the people living with dementia we support week in, week out, 52 weeks a year. They are expensive to run, especially with the current cost of fuel, but they are the only reason 80% of our members are able to get out of the house, socialise, and meet new people every week.
Recently, we had to pay £1,000 for repairs to our bus that they rely on, and as a small charity it is a constant struggle to find the money to keep our buses on the road.
Without urgent support, we won’t be able to continue our service.
