Friday Fun! This week at our Together Dementia Support groups, we embraced the beauty of autumn by diving into some creative crafting activities! The crisp, fresh air provided the perfect backdrop for gathering vibrant leaves, which became the stars of our art projects.
Our members had a wonderful time working with clay to create stunning imprints of the leaves, capturing their unique shapes and textures. They also crafted colourful collages that truly reflect the rich hues of the season. Engaging in creative activities like these is not just fun; it plays a vital role in stimulating the senses and enhancing well-being for people living with dementia. The use of colour and texture can evoke memories, spark joy, and foster connections within our community.
