Here at Together Dementia Support we rely heavily on donations from our supporters, and so we were delighted when we heard that Ellen McGrane had decided she would like to support us by undertaking the challenge of running a half marathon. So on a rainy morning on 14 January Ellen set out to complete the Dorney Lake Half Marathon. She completed the challenge and in the process, managed to raise an amazing £650!
Ellen said ‘I'm glad that we could help a local charity who are doing such vital work to support those who are affected by Dementia’. We are incredibly grateful for her all her efforts, and the money raised will go towards providing much needed services for people in Manchester living with dementia and their carers.
