Diversity of our dementia community

Dementia is no respecter of age, gender, religion or race. It can affect anyone of us. Hence our community of people living with dementia is diverse, a fact that we can celebrate. Our groups welcome and include white British, black West Indian, South Asian and many others who join in activities together and celebrate those things we have in common while acknowledging different backgrounds and cultures. Our staff and volunteers also reflect this diverse background and we are grateful to the richness that they bring to our work.
